My hometown: Hanau

I am living in a small town on the eastern end of the Frankfurt metropolitan area. You will see the town in the folloing map:

Hanau is part of the Frankfurt metropolitan area one of the strongest metropolitan areas in Germany. About 2.2 million people living in the area of the map above. In the lower center you will find Rhein Main Airport (Flughafen) the biggest airport of continental Europe and the economical motor of our area.

Hanau became 700 years old in 2003.

Though Hanau was almost totally destroyed in WW 2 it has some very beautiful buildings:
